If you get bored of watching English language TV shows it’s high time to shift your interest to something different and it so happens to be a French series. Here are some of the best upcoming French series you shouldn’t by any means not miss out on in 2022.
- Dix pour cent
This dramedy shows how smart writing, excellent acting, and the city of Paris can all be enough to land you a Netflix smash.
The series represents the lives of four lousy film agents who would go to great lengths to make their customers happy and benefit from them (the French title translates to “Ten per cent,” which is the percentage the agents receive).
While the creators of the series may have intended to ridicule the role of an actual film agent, they had no idea that their primary characters would become so intriguing as a result of this series.
Picture a Senegalese Sherlock Holmes that transforms into a gentleman thief, comparable to James Bond. That’s Assane Diop, the protagonist of ‘Lupin’ the Netflix series that was the most watched in 2021.
Assane has had a hankering for vengeance since he was a kid. But he’s also charming and skilled, and you’d never suspect he’s plotting a heist at the Louvre from his demeanour. What exactly is his objective? Stealing the necklace from Marie Antoinette.
- Au service de la France
Based in Paris, in the 1960s, following the exploits of André Merlaux, a trainee officer employed by the French Secret Services.
The series takes a satirical look at a time when France was already a Great Power in turmoil. It depicts the country’s political and socioeconomic transformations, as well as the country’s ties with neighbouring nations. The sociopolitical backdrop is depicted in a very realistic manner, making this series a must-watch.
- La forêt

- On va s’aimer un peu, beaucoup
